Fire Retardant Aluminium Foil

The uninsulated foil duct is constructed of a multiply laminated Aluminum & Metalized Polyester film with an-capsulated high tensile steel wire helix.

The insulated foil duct is constructed over the uninsulated Inner duct, 25mm thick fiberglass Insulation and is covered with multi layer Aluminum film Jacket. The insulated duct is a range of fully flexible ducting , which has been specially designed for the HVAC Market. This foil duct has been developed to minimize the heat gain or loss resulting from the temperature difference between the air flowing in a duct and the surrounding air. The vapor barrier prevents condensation forming on the outside of ducts carrying air at lower temperatures than the surrounding air.

The aluminium foil duct hoses are also available in a FIRE RETARDANT variant which is tested for fire resistance and cuts the emission of toxic gases in case of a fire.
